Zde najdete fotografie staletých rostlin cykasů druhu E. eugene-maraisii forma “Palala” v přírodě. Jak vidíte, na jeho lokalitách lze stále nalézt značné množství těchto rostlin. Navštívil jsem dohromady dvě farmy, na jejichž pozemcích rostliny rostou a na obou bylo vidět VELKÉ množství mrtvých pokácených rostlin, výsledek práce pytláků, kteří tyto stromy kradou. Zdá se, že pytlačení do určité míry ustalo, neboť stromy jsou nově chráněny stálými ozbrojenými strážci.

Here are some pictures of the “Palala” form in habitat. Its good to see that there are still quite a few plants left. I visited two farms, and both these farms had MANY dead plants as a result of poachers. It seems the poaching has stopped now, since there are permanent armed guards around the plants now!
